Fire Works July 2012

So this year for the 4th we didn't want to set off fireworks due to the crazy amounts of fires in Utah. So we made our own fun!
We made "rockets" and filled them with confetti!
When the girls pulled the streamers
 The rockets "explode" with confetti!
 We also did sparklers
 They are always fun.
Happy Independence Day!!

Oreo Pops

These were fun for the girls to make! I found this idea on pinterest!
First we got out our red, white, and blue sprinkles.
 Then we melted our chocolate.
 Put sticks in our Oreos.
The girls loved the next part they dipped the oreos in the chocolate the patted them in the sprinkles. The recipe wanted them to dunk the entire cookie in chocolate but we just did a dip.
And for Daddy and Mommy who are not to fond of sprinkles we did a few just chocolate! The girls had a lot of fun making them, and made a lot. So we did end up taking some over to the neighbors! It was a fun treat for the Forth of july

So we mixed liquid Starch and clear glue together.
After that we separated it into different bowls and added food coloring

Maddy was not so sure about it.
